1. Scope of these terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to use of PianoIrani.com and to purchases made through this website. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms, the Privacy Policy and the Digital Downloads Refund and Cancellation Policy.
The version of these Terms in force when an order is placed will apply to that order.
2. About the store and the products
PianoIrani.com is a UK-based international online store specialising in downloadable PDF editions of Persian piano and music publications authored by Bahar Barkhordar. The products currently sold through this website are digital files only; no physical book is supplied unless a product page expressly states otherwise in the future.
The works offered on this website were authored outside Iran. References within the books or product information to Iranian musicians, musical traditions or cultural institutions are bibliographic and cultural information only. PianoIrani.com, the seller, the payment activity and the supply through this website is not established in, linked to or operated from Iran.
This .com international store and its checkout/payment arrangements are separate from any local or country-code website that may use similar brandings.
3. Who may purchase
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract. Purchases should be made by an adult or by a person otherwise legally authorised to make the transaction.
Customer accounts are not currently required or offered. Orders are placed through guest checkout using the billing and contact information supplied at checkout.
4. Product information
We take reasonable care to describe each digital product accurately, including its title, contents, format and relevant publication information. Images are illustrative. You are responsible for checking the product description before ordering.
The digital products are supplied as PDF files. You are responsible for having a compatible device, internet connection and PDF-reading software suitable for opening the files.
5. Prices and taxes
Prices are shown in the currency stated on the website, normally GBP. Applicable VAT, sales tax or similar taxes may be included in or added to the amount shown at checkout depending on the customer’s location and the tax obligations applicable to the transaction. The final amount payable will be shown before the order is submitted.
6. Orders, payment and formation of the contract
Displaying a product on the website is an invitation to place an order and does not oblige us to accept every order. When you submit an order, you make an offer to purchase the selected digital product.
A contract is formed when the order has been accepted and payment has been successfully confirmed. We may refuse or cancel an order where payment is declined, the order cannot lawfully be fulfilled, there is a material pricing or technical error, fraud or misuse is suspected, or the order conflicts with applicable sanctions or payment-provider requirements.
If an order is cancelled after funds have been captured and the digital content has not lawfully been supplied, any amount due back to you will be returned through the original payment method where reasonably possible.
7. Digital delivery
After successful payment, download links are normally made available on the Order Received page and/or in the order confirmation email. A short processing delay may occasionally occur while the payment confirmation and download permissions are finalised.
If a download link does not work, please try it again and then contact info@pianoirani.com if the problem continues. We will take reasonable steps to restore access to a valid purchased file.
8. Immediate supply, cancellation and refunds
Digital downloads are supplied on request for immediate access. Where applicable consumer law provides a cancellation period for digital content, immediate supply during that period requires the customer’s express consent and acknowledgement that the right to cancel will be lost once supply begins.
Our detailed rules are set out in the Digital Downloads Refund and Cancellation Policy. Nothing in these Terms removes any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Licence and intellectual property
Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchasing a PDF grants the purchaser a personal, non-transferable licence to download, store and print reasonable copies for personal study, practice and use.
You must not sell, redistribute, share, upload, publish, reproduce for distribution, sublicense or make the purchased PDF available to another person or on another website, file-sharing service, messaging channel or platform without permission from the rights holder.
Copyright and all other intellectual-property rights in the books, notation, editorial work, text, images and other protected material remain with their respective rights holders.
10. Free audio material
Where audio recordings are made available free of charge on the website, no purchase is required to access them unless expressly stated otherwise. Free availability does not transfer copyright or permit commercial redistribution. Any specific licence or usage notice displayed with an audio file will also apply.
11. Restricted jurisdictions and prohibited transactions
This store is intended for international customers outside prohibited jurisdictions. We do not offer sales, accept payments or provide digital delivery to customers located in Iran, or to any person, country or territory where the transaction would be prohibited by applicable UK law, sanctions requirements or the rules of the payment provider used for the transaction.
By placing an order, you confirm that you are not located in a prohibited jurisdiction, are not acting on behalf of a prohibited or sanctioned person, and are not attempting to route a transaction in a way that misrepresents your location or status.
We may use billing-country information, IP information and payment-provider checks to enforce these restrictions. We may refuse or cancel an order where necessary for legal, sanctions, fraud-prevention or payment-compliance reasons.
12. Website availability and errors
We aim to keep the website and downloads available, but uninterrupted or error-free availability cannot be guaranteed. We may perform maintenance, correct errors, update product information or temporarily suspend parts of the website where reasonably necessary.
If a technical error prevents delivery of a paid file, contact us and we will take reasonable steps to restore access or provide an appropriate remedy.
13. Liability and consumer rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so, or limits statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, or for business losses arising from a purchase made wholly or mainly for personal purposes.
14. Privacy
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Payment providers and other independent third parties may also process information under their own privacy notices.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection that applies to you under the law of the country in which you normally live where such protection cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Contact
